Yes! Square can be integrated into the Payment Gateway.
Step 1: Create or Log In to Square Account
For Square to work with the DJ Intelligence and Event Intelligence Payment Gateway, you must create a Square account or sign in to an existing account. Create a new account at https://squareup.com/
(Important Note: Square API support for credit card and card on file processing is currently limited to the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, and the United Kingdom.)
Step 2: Create a new application
To create a new application:
Open the Developer Dashboard.
Choose New Application or choose Create Your First Application if your account is new.
Enter a name for your application. (Example: your company name)
Agree to the Square Developer Terms of Service.
Choose Create Application (or plus sign) and enter a name. For easy identification, you may choose to name this DJ Intelligence or Event Intelligence.
Step 3: Click "Open" for the newly created application.
(The name shown below would be what you chose in the Step 2 and could be different than what is pictured.)
Step 4: Locate Your Credentials (Application ID and Access Token).
(You will need this to copy into the Payment Gateway configuration in the next step.)
IMPORTANT: Be sure to note the the two options... Sandbox and Production. Sandbox can be used if you'd like to test. Production should be used if you are ready to accept actual payments. The Application ID and Access Token is different for each.
Step 5: Open DJ Intelligence or Event Intelligence in a new browser tab and log in.
In your DJ or Event Intelligence account, go to Admin, then Payment Gateway.
1. Click Square Merchant Direct from the options.
2. Choose the Environment. Sandbox = testing. Production = ready to accept payments from customers.
3: Enter the Application ID from the Step 4. (we recommend copying and pasting to avoid entry errors)
4: Enter the Access Token from Step 4. (we recommend copying and pasting to avoid entry errors)
5. Set to "Enable" to show in your Payment Gateway.
